Block
Prevent another account from following, viewing, or interacting with your tweets.
In depth
Blocking severs the relationship: the blocked user can't follow you, see your tweets while logged in, mention you, or DM you. They are notified when they next try to interact with your profile.
Blocks are public — the blocked user can see they've been blocked. For silent removal, use mute instead. Blocking is appropriate for harassment, repeated bad-faith engagement, and accounts you genuinely don't want any contact with.
