The 160-character description shown on your profile, beneath your name and avatar.

The bio is the second-highest converting element on a profile (after the pinned post). 160 characters isn't much, which forces a brutal edit: who you are, what you make, who it's for, and one CTA.

Mentions and hashtags inside a bio are clickable links. Adding @yourcompany or #yourniche to your bio creates a navigation surface that increases inbound profile-to-follow conversion.
