No. The point of AI generation is to remove the 'what do I post' decision. You set topics + tone + cadence; AutoTweet writes the posts. You review them in 3-5 minutes/week to polish. The 14-tweet starter queue is pre-filled the moment you connect X — so even on day 1, you're not staring at an empty queue.

Yes. The cancel flow in /dashboard/settings offers a free 30-day pause before the cancel button — your queue, X connection, and settings stay intact; billing skips one cycle. Most users who pause re-engage; ~19% of users who would have canceled accept pause instead (Churnkey-benchmarked).

Settings → Subscription → Manage. Pick 'Cancel' or 'Pause 30 days'. If you cancel, you keep access until the end of your current billing period (no abrupt cutoff). If you pause, billing resumes after 30 days.

Standard OAuth 2.0. You click 'Connect X' in /dashboard/settings, X asks you to authorize AutoTweet, you grant permission. AutoTweet never sees your X password. The connection lasts ~90 days before X requires re-authorization (this is X's policy, not ours).

Read tweets (so we can analyze your voice + show analytics), Write tweets (so we can publish your scheduled posts), Read profile (so we know your handle + display name). We don't access DMs, don't follow/unfollow accounts on your behalf, and don't engage with other accounts (no auto-likes / auto-retweets).

Tokens expire every ~90 days (X's policy). AutoTweet emails you when this happens with a one-click reconnect link. The dashboard also surfaces a 'Reconnect X' banner. Reconnection takes 30 seconds and your queue resumes immediately.

Yes — Starter supports 1, Growth supports 5, Pro supports unlimited. Each account has its own queue, autopilot config, and analytics. The Growth limit (5) is binding for most solo creators; agencies typically need Pro.

AutoTweet can't post to a suspended account (X blocks all API access). You'll get a failure email per missed publish. Once X reinstates your account (their support handles this, not us), AutoTweet resumes automatically — no manual reconnect needed.

AutoTweet retries with exponential backoff on transient errors (network, X rate-limit, brief 5xx). Permanent errors (auth expired, content rejected) mark the post failed and send you an email with the specific reason + a reconnect or edit action. We don't silently drop posts.

AutoTweet's publish cron runs every 5 minutes — posts publish within ~10 minutes of their scheduled time. We don't promise to-the-second timing because X's API doesn't either. If you need second-precision (e.g., for a coordinated launch tweet), use X's native scheduler for that one post.

X's /users/me endpoint rate-limits during OAuth — sometimes the username doesn't come back on the first try. AutoTweet stores 'pending_xxx' as a placeholder. The settings page auto-recovers the handle in the background; usually fixed within a day. You can also click 'Refresh' on the settings page to retry immediately.

Yes — autotweet.io/status shows live system health (auth, Stripe, Groq, X OAuth). If something's broken site-wide, this page reflects it. For individual account issues, email support@autotweet.io.

Yes for AI generation; partially for the auto-plug / recycling features. Hypefury's auto-plug ships an offer alongside your viral posts; AutoTweet's equivalent is coming Q3 2026. Not currently planned. X-first is intentional — multi-network tools necessarily sacrifice depth on each network. If LinkedIn is your priority, Typefully or Taplio are better fits. We may revisit if a clear strategic reason emerges, but no near-term plans.

Possibly. The 7 tone profiles (Professional, Casual, Witty, Provocative, Inspirational, Educational, Storytelling) cover most creator voices. Adding more would dilute the differentiation. We're more likely to add per-account custom tone training (Pro/Agency feature) than add to the 7 fixed profiles.
