What you can do
ChatGPT for ideation, AutoTweet for voice
Brainstorm 20 tweet ideas in ChatGPT; export the list to AutoTweet, which regenerates each in your voice and schedules them.
Custom GPT for content drafts
Build a custom GPT trained on your brand voice; copy its output into AutoTweet's compose to schedule (webhook auto-feed is planned, not live yet).
Research → tweet pipeline
ChatGPT analyzes a long PDF or research paper; key insights become AutoTweet-generated tweets in your voice.
Why use both vs. ChatGPT alone
ChatGPT gives generic 'AI tweet' output. AutoTweet's voice training produces tweets that sound like YOU. The combo: ChatGPT for ideation breadth, AutoTweet for voice + scheduling.
Setup
Today: copy ChatGPT output into AutoTweet's compose. Planned, not live yet: a webhook endpoint a custom GPT could POST to directly, and beyond that, a native ChatGPT Action that lets you schedule from inside a ChatGPT conversation.
Common questions
Why use AutoTweet instead of just ChatGPT for tweets?+
ChatGPT produces good ideas but generic voice — output sounds like 'AI tweet' rather than like you. AutoTweet's voice training reads your past tweets and generates new tweets that match your cadence, vocabulary, and structural habits. Different problems; complementary tools.
Can I use my ChatGPT Plus subscription with AutoTweet?+
Yes. AutoTweet doesn't replace your ChatGPT subscription — they work together. ChatGPT for ideation / research / general work; AutoTweet for the X-specific voice generation + scheduling + analytics.
Will the planned ChatGPT Action let me publish without leaving the ChatGPT app?+
Yes. The ChatGPT Action (planned Q4 2026) will let you say 'schedule this tweet for tomorrow at 9am' inside ChatGPT and the post lands in your AutoTweet queue. Today's workflow requires copy-paste.
Does AutoTweet use OpenAI / GPT under the hood?+
No, AutoTweet doesn't call OpenAI's hosted API — tweet generation runs on Groq's infrastructure, which gives much faster inference and lower cost than typical API latency. That's what makes your monthly generation quota more generous and is part of what makes the Autopilot economics work at $49-99/mo.
