What you can do
Master content calendar
Airtable holds all content — blog posts, tweets, newsletters. Filter view 'tweets ready to publish' feeds AutoTweet.
Bulk-load tweet ideas
Paste 50 tweet ideas into Airtable in one go. Approve in bulk; Zapier pushes them into AutoTweet's queue.
Multi-account orchestration
Airtable column 'account' picks which X account each tweet posts to. Useful for agencies running 5+ accounts.
Analytics writeback
After publish, AutoTweet pushes the live tweet URL + engagement data back into Airtable for reporting.
Setup
Via Zapier: Airtable (Record Updated, filter: status='approved') → AutoTweet (Schedule Post, fields: text, scheduled_at, x_account). Native Airtable integration planned Q4 2026.
Common questions
Can I push Airtable's attachment fields (images) into the tweet?+
Yes via Zapier — map Airtable's attachment URL to AutoTweet's media field. AutoTweet downloads the image, uploads it to X via the API, and attaches it to the scheduled tweet. One image per tweet currently; up to 4 images planned for Q3.
What's the minimum Airtable plan needed?+
Airtable Free tier works (1,000 records, basic API access). For larger teams or 50,000+ records, Airtable Team plan ($24/seat/mo) gives you the relationship features needed for complex content workflows.
Can Airtable's automations trigger AutoTweet directly without Zapier?+
Yes — Airtable's built-in scripting action can call AutoTweet's webhook ingestion endpoint. Faster than Zapier (sub-second latency vs. 5-15 min poll). Requires JavaScript familiarity; Zapier route is friendlier for non-engineers.
Will I lose data when migrating from Airtable to native Notion (later)?+
No — AutoTweet stores its own copy of scheduled posts. Switching the source from Airtable to Notion (when native ships) doesn't lose your existing queue. The integration is the input pipeline; AutoTweet is the system of record.
